Completely reimagined yet respectful of its roots, this home is a full-scale renovation set against breathtaking West Vancouver views. While the home’s layout and exterior presence remained largely intact, nearly every interior surface was reconsidered.

We restored the original oak flooring to reveal its natural warmth, grounding the home in authenticity. In the kitchen, a charming oval window became a defining feature, shaping the millwork and overall composition around its soft architectural form. The surrounding landscape informed the material palette. Deep ocean blues, sandy plaster textures, and natural finishes reflect the West Coast views just beyond the windows. Subtle texture carries throughout, echoing the layered materials of the West Coast shoreline.

Function guided the design just as much as aesthetics. A custom home office supports focused work, the mudroom includes a dedicated dog wash, and the primary suite frames city and water views directly from the bed. Designed as a forever home, each space is built to serve this family beautifully for decades to come.
