Set within a 1927 home, this kitchen renovation was guided by a deep respect for the property’s original character. Our clients wanted to preserve the warmth and architectural integrity of the home while creating a space that supports how their family lives today.
We reimagined the layout to improve flow and strengthen the connection between kitchen and adjoining spaces. Circulation was clarified, sightlines were refined, and the kitchen was planned to support both quiet mornings and lively gatherings with ease.
A sculptural hand-trowelled Venetian plaster hood introduces architectural softness, while a glossy black AGA range anchors the room with both presence and performance. Creamy cabinetry is paired with warm maple millwork to create depth, complemented by aged brass hardware that adds richness and continuity. Ribbed glass pendants, a farmhouse sink, and marble surfaces were selected for their character, durability, and long-term relevance. Now, the space feels cohesive and authentic, grounded in its past yet fully equipped for modern family life.
