After searching for a quieter pace of life, our clients decided to relocate to the mountains in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. What was once supposed to be a spec home, became a tailored and highly functional home to support and enhance our clients’ way of living. We were involved in this project early on, we began with respace planning the entire home, removing the formal living room & dining room and transforming those spaces into his-and-hers home offices for the clients as they both work from home. We reimaged the entire back of the home, creating a large open concept space for the living room, dining room, bar and kitchen. Drawing inspiration from our clients, this transitional home oozes with personality: it's playful yet subtly sophisticated, layered, timeless, and intentional, with just the right amount of moody. The juxtaposition between the modern elements and the warm natural colour palette fosters a comfortable space for everyday living.
